A Daily Khata Book Built Right Into Your AI Chatbot Dashboard
A lot of small business owners in India still keep their daily income and expenses the old way — a physical notebook, or one of the many "khata book" apps built just for that. Chatsettu now has its own version of that notebook sitting right next to your AI employee's dashboard, called the Business Diary. Here's exactly what it is.
What it actually is
A straightforward daily income/expense notebook — what came in, what went out, with a category and a note for each entry. It's genuinely built to feel like a notebook rather than a spreadsheet: it opens like a cloth-cover diary with your business name foil-stamped on it, pages turn with a swipe or the arrow keys, and each month gets its own spine on the shelf. Underneath that, it's backed by its own proper database built for money (not a spreadsheet trick), with charts and a search box so a particular entry or month is never more than a click away.
Type it in, or let AI do the typing
By default, you just fill in a simple form — amount, income or expense, category, note. If you'd rather type a single messy line like "sold 3 shirts 1200, paid shop rent 5000" and let AI sort it into separate entries, that's available too, but it's switched off until you deliberately turn it on and see a consent card explaining exactly what gets sent. Even then, it never saves anything by itself — it shows you a preview of what it understood, and only your explicit confirm actually writes it to your diary. Anything that looks like a card, PAN, phone, or account number gets stripped out before any text leaves your account.
What it costs, honestly
It's a separate yearly add-on — ₹999/year, with a 15-day free trial to actually use it before paying anything. It has nothing to do with your messaging plan or message credits; your AI employee keeps working exactly the same whether or not you ever touch the Business Diary.
Why this lives in a chatbot dashboard at all
Your AI employee already tells you who messaged and what leads came in today — the Business Diary just extends that same daily picture to the money side of the day. If you've written something in your diary that day, your evening summary email includes today's income, expenses, and net alongside your usual lead numbers, so one email tells the whole story instead of two separate places to check.
Open the Business Diary from your dashboard — try it free for 15 days.
