1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account on Chatsettu, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Our Services

Chatsettu provides an AI-powered chat agent platform that allows businesses to:

• Create AI agents trained on website content, PDFs, images, or custom knowledge
• Embed chat widgets on their websites
• Share AI agent links via URL or QR code
• Capture leads and receive instant notifications
• View analytics and conversation history
• Take appointment bookings in chat, with email (and optionally SMS) reminders
• Import contacts, follow up with leads automatically by email or SMS, and track them in a built-in mini-CRM
• Add staff accounts, assign tasks, and track attendance (Team Management add-on)
• Keep a daily income and expense diary with monthly totals, charts, and CSV export (Business Diary add-on)

3. Pricing & Plans

Message Validity Policy:

• No Expiry: Messages never expire — use at your own pace, no monthly deadline
• Limit Based: Plan ends only when message limit is fully used up
• Recharge When Empty: Once exhausted, renew your plan to get fresh credits
• No Pressure: Take 1 month or 6 months — messages stay until you use them all
• Plan Active: Your plan stays active until you cancel — we never auto-cancel

Optional Add-ons:

Annual add-ons give one year of access from payment; renewing before expiry extends from your current expiry date, so paying early never shortens what you've already paid for. SMS, follow-up and WhatsApp alert credits do not expire.

Ad Planner: the AI ad plans, ad texts and calendars are suggestions to start from, not advice you must follow and not a promise of customers, leads or sales. You are responsible for checking every ad against Meta's, Google's and any other platform's rules and the law, and for the facts, prices and offers in your ads. Chatsettu does not run your ads and cannot see your ad accounts: the spend you enter is typed by you, and "cost per lead" is only worked out from that spend and the leads that came through that ad's Chatsettu link or QR and shared a phone number or e-mail. The Ad Planner is free with every plan. Tracking your ads is not limited. Because the AI plan uses an AI service that costs us money, the number of AI plans per month is limited by plan (Starter 3, Pro 10, Agency 20) and we may change these limits or switch the AI plan off for an account that uses it in a way that is abusive; tracking and the Launch Guide continue.

WhatsApp Lead Alerts: alerts are one-way messages from Chatsettu's WhatsApp number to the number you enter, sent only if you agree and switch them on, and you can switch them off at any time. You confirm the number is yours or that you are allowed to use it. A credit is used only when WhatsApp accepts the message for delivery; delivery itself depends on WhatsApp and is not guaranteed, so your email alerts remain the reliable record of every lead. WhatsApp's own terms apply to the messages. Mess owners who use Meal Check-in can also receive the daily plate-count summary on WhatsApp; each summary delivered uses one alert credit, exactly like a lead alert. Hostel Register owners can receive late-student and roll-call messages the same way (counts only) and may enter a warden's WhatsApp number; you confirm the warden agreed, and each message delivered uses one of your alert credits.

Hostel Register: a record-keeping tool for hostel and PG owners to note when a student goes out and comes back, with the warden accounts and student list you add yourself. You are responsible for adding only residents who (or whose guardians) know about the register, for who you give a warden login to and what you allow that warden to do (by default a warden can only do the gate work; adding or changing students, seeing PINs and downloading lists are switched on one by one by you), and for keeping student PINs private. If you switch on the students' page, anyone who has the link and a student's mobile number and PIN can send a request as that student, so give PINs only to the student and make a new link if the old one has spread. Chatsettu is a tool, not a safety or security service: the register shows what you, your wardens and your students enter, late and roll-call alerts depend on e-mail and phone-notification delivery and can be delayed or missed, and none of it replaces roll calls, your own rules, or a guardian's judgement. Records are kept for the period you choose (3, 6 or 12 months; 6 by default) and are then deleted automatically; the student list stays until you remove a student or your account. 4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use Chatsettu for:

• Spreading misinformation or fake news
• Illegal activities or services
• Spam or unsolicited communications
• Adult content or gambling services
• Impersonating other businesses or individuals
• Any activity that violates Indian laws or regulations

Images you upload

If you upload a logo or welcome banner for your AI agent, you confirm that you own it or have the right to use it, and that it is lawful and not misleading. These images are shown publicly to everyone who opens your chat, so do not upload anything private or confidential. We may remove an image that breaks these terms or the rules above.

5. AI Content Disclaimer

Chatsettu's AI agents generate responses based on the knowledge you provide. We are not responsible for:

• Incorrect or outdated information provided by the AI
• Business decisions made based on AI responses
• Any losses arising from AI-generated content

You are responsible for reviewing and updating your agent's knowledge base regularly.

6. Business Diary

• Record-keeping only: the Business Diary is a simple tool for tracking your own income and expenses. It is not accounting, invoicing, GST, tax, audit, or legal software or advice, and you remain responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for your own tax and legal compliance.
• Free trial: 15 days, starting the first time you open the diary. After that, continued use needs the ₹999/year add-on.
• After the trial or expiry: you can still view and download your entries, but cannot add, edit, or delete them until you unlock the add-on again.
• AI entry (optional): if you switch on AI entry, the text you type is sent to OpenAI to be sorted into entries, as described in our Privacy Policy. AI can misread amounts, dates, or categories — you must review every entry before saving, and you are responsible for what you save. AI entry is subject to a fair-use daily limit and may be changed or paused at any time.
• Your entries, your responsibility: please do not enter bank account numbers, PAN, Aadhaar, or passwords. We take reasonable care to keep your data safe, but recommend downloading a CSV regularly as your own backup.

7. Refund Policy

• Starter plan is free — no refund applicable
• Pro & Agency plans: Refund within 7 days of payment will be considered
• Add-ons: refund within 7 days of payment will be considered if the add-on has not been used; the Business Diary's free trial costs nothing
• No refund for partial usage, or for SMS, follow-up or WhatsApp alert credits already used or sent

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse our systems. You can delete individual AI agents anytime from your dashboard, or request full account deletion by emailing chatsettu@gmail.com.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in courts of jurisdiction where Chatsettu is registered.
